Christian Coleman and Kenny Bednarek have started their training for the upcoming season. The former athlete concluded his 2024 season by competing at the Paris Olympics, and the latter concluded his year after competing at the Diamond League Brussels.
Coleman didn't have his expected run at the 2024 Summer Games, as the athlete fell short of qualifying for the 100m dash and 200m dashes. He ran in the prelims of the 4x100m relay, and his team was disqualified from the finals of the race. Apart from the Paris Olympics, Coleman also competed at the Xiamen Diamond League, Millrise Games, World Athletics Indoor Championships, and the Prefontaine Classic, in 2024.
Kenny Bednarek, on the other hand, won one medal at the Paris Olympics in the 200m dash. He earned a second-place finish in the event by clocking a time of 19.62s in the finals and was bested by Letsile Tebogo, who clinched gold in the event. The athlete wrapped up his year after competing in the 200m at the Diamond League final in Brussels, where he stood atop the podium, avenging his loss to the Olympic Champion, Tebogo, by clocking 19.67s.
Both the athletes, Coleman and Bednarek, following their last races, went into their off-seasons and now have started training for the upcoming 2025 season. A video has been uploaded by Star Athletics on their Instagram handle, in which both the athletes, along with others such as Kyree King, Aaron Kingsley Brown, and Courtney Lindsey, practiced the 100m repeat training with their coach.

Christian Coleman opened up about his 100m loss at the Paris Olympics and his future plans for the 2025 season
In a post-race interview with Flo Track at the US Olympic Trials, Christian Coleman spoke about finishing in fourth place in the 100m and not qualifying for the Summer Games. He said that loss was just a part of the sport and said he believed in himself. He said (via Pulse Sports),
"It’s just a part of the sport, and I’ve been doing it for a while. You never plan for failure, but it’s something that comes with the territory. I know there’s so much more I can do going forward. Processing in my head, move on from it, and we got more life to live."
He further also opened up about his 2025 plans, saying that he will put his hard work together the next year,
"I would have wanted to come out here and win my last race, but I still think I did some things well, and there are others I need to work on. Like I said, I’ve been working on a lot, and I need to put it all together next year with a full season under my belt."
Christian Coleman delivered a stellar performance in the 60m dash at the 2024 Glasgow World Indoor Championships, as he clinched gold in the event by clocking an impressive time of 6.41s.
